After a film festival run in 10 countries across the globe, “Frankenstein Created Bikers” will head back to where it all began. In April of 2016, the award-winning biker exploitation film held its world premiere at the 40th Atlanta Film Festival and will return to Atlanta on November 18th with a midnight screening at The Buried Alive Film Festival.
“The love we’ve seen from horror fans across the world from Buenos Aires to Zurich has been rewarding beyond words. I’m still amazed that we were able to reach cities like Manaus in the State of Amazonas, Brazil and entertain audiences,” says director James Bickert.
“Now that we’re back in Atlanta, we wanted to do something special to show our appreciation for the local community of genre fans so we’re going to make this midnight screening really special with cast members in attendance and cool giveaways.”
Big World Pictures and The Buried Alive Film Festival will be giving away your choice of either the 7″ inch official “Frankenstein Created Bikers” vinyl soundtrack record featuring Bigfoot and Dusty Booze and the Baby Haters, the Thomas Hodge designed advanced poster or the Corlen Kruger theatrical poster to the first 50 people through the door in 1970 attire.
“This is open to your interpretation. You can dress Porno Chic, Manson Family, Narc, Hippy Biker, Disco, Burt Reynolds or Debbie Reynolds. We won’t judge.Hell, show up as a member of the Village People and we might buy you a beer too!” says Bickert.
ABOUT FRANKENSTEIN CREATED BIKERS
Lensed in 10 Georgia cities on Super 35mm film, “Frankenstein Created Bikers” centers on the re-animation of the South’s most notorious biker gang called The Impalers. Dr. Marco (Paul McComiskey) and his assistant (Laurence R. Harvey) are performing gruesome experiments in their asylum lab and have resurrected the thrill-kill motorcycle club to capture a Bigfoot carrying a pathogen that will allow them to perform a human head transplant. When news of the gang’s resurrection draws the attention of bounty hunters, law enforcement and rival gangs, the lofty aspirations of these mad scientists start to spiral out of control. Things get even worse for the occupants when failed experiments escape from the basement and their lab is attacked by a bomb-happy femme fatale named Val (Tristan Risk). The shocking and entertaining “Frankenstein Created Bikers” is screening in limited release and festivals world-wide before hitting VOD later this year.
